Which course(steam) in engineering has best placements in Chandigarh University (CU)?

All most all the streams engineering have a good placement record but mostly the number of placements are more for computer science and engineering.

Placements are good in all departments. Let me give you a glimpse of placements in all departments. Computer Science Engineering students of University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered the highest package of Rs. 35 lacs for the Engineering branch. IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students. Worlds top IT giant Microsoft selected Computer Science and IT Engineering students consecutively for last three years, while number the selections have increased three times and touched 15. India's leading IT Company Wipro (394), Capgemini (217), Mindtree (101) while the global IT giant IBM also selected record number of 196 engineering students which is the highest number of selections made in any campus in North India. More than 115 companies selected 530 students from Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics & Automobile Engineering branch offering pay packages up-to 9 LPA. Top Automobile and aviation companies which included Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Essar Group, Jamna Autos, Indigo Airlines, TAFE, Royal Enfield, Hyundai, John Deere, MRF have selected Automobile Engineering students while companies like Reliance Industries, Godrej, Sanmar Group, Jindal Steel, Asahi Glass, Tata Power, Tata Technologies, Schindler have recruited students from Mechanical Engineering. Number of MNCs for the selection of Civil and Chemical Engineering students touched 35 which selected more than 178 students during campus placement session. International Construction Company, Leighton selected more than 15 Civil Engineering students during campus placements.

Chandigarh University has been awarded with the title "University with Best Placements" in India. With more than 757 Multi-Nationals visiting CU Campus in 2021-22, the number of offers have touched 8000+ and the highest package has registered a growth of 30% & have scaled to a new high of 52.11 LPA. The highest package offered during Chandigarh University placements 2021-22 was INR 1.7 Crore per annum and was offered to Engineering students. Over 900 recruiters participated and more than 9,500 students were placed during Chandigarh University placements 2022. CU provides 100% placement. In our college companies like google, microsoft, adobe come for placements. In year 2021 we got the highest package of 36 LPA for engineering student. Our college is very supportive in placements they try to put us in every placement exam.

It's computer science stream. Here the job opportunities are good as many good companies come to campus like Microsoft, TCS, Amazon etc. Amazon offered about 22 lakhs to a CSE student and Microsoft offered 9 lakhs to 5 students. TCS have taken the students in bulk.

The best placements of this college is of the CSE branch and in terms of average package and the highest package offered, Chandigarh University has the highest package of Rs. 27 Lacs and the average package stands at Rs. 5-6 Lacs.
