You have to opt between Botany and Zoology, or both, depending on the University to which you belong. The selection of a subject is mainly on individual consideration. Then only, you perform better in Research and Publications. Then, you have to study with a sense of responsibility.

In BSc Biology, you have Botany, Zoology. You can choose either of those. Both have many career prospects. If you are interested about plants, you can go with Botany. If you are interested about Humans, you can choose Zoology.
