    Master of Computer Application (MCA):
    MCA is a postgraduate course spans over a period of 3 years and divided into 6 semesters. Bachelor's degree with Mathematics or Statistics at 10+2 / degree level is required to be eligible to apply for a typical MCA programme. This Masters course is intended to provide students with advanced technical skills like software development, the latest programming languages, algorithm design, computer networks, database management and other subjects related to IT.

    Both have different scopes. MCA is quite better, but in addition, you can do a certified courses from trusted sources like RedHat, etc., then you will get added value. Thing is, it is not like MCQ, that you need only one. Certification courses adds value to your academic qualifications as they are industry exposure courses.
