Which course would be beneficial before pursuing MBA in finance?

I am thinking of pursuing part time MBA. I want to learn something beneficial in the 2 years gap (to gain work experience) and don't want to loose the habit of learning too.

Before pursuing MBA in finance, you can learn basic and advanced MS Excel, because financial analysts need to work in and out on spreadsheets.
