Both fields have equal opportunities for searching a job. It depends on the stream you have taken in 12th. If have done 12th with science and maths background, it is good to go for B.Sc and if you were from commerce stream then it is better to go for B.Com.
One more point is, if you want to make a career in accounts field then it is better to go for B.Com, else for teaching field or IT sector you can go for B.Sc.

You are a science stream student B.Sc-M.Sc IT is a right career option for you unless you are ready to put effort to do BCom and obtain professional degree such as CA, CFA, CMA etc.
