The following is the strategy I used to ace the exam. 1. English Section: Divide the preparation in three parts- Grammar, Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension. Grammar- Wren & Martin, Lucents English book. Go through the English grammar rules and try to remember them. Most of the errors revolve around them. Vocabulary-Norman Lewis word power made easy. And a dictionary app in your phone which should become the most used app on your phone. Reading Comprehension-Newspapers and other reading. 2. Quantitative section: Magical book on quicker maths by M Tyra. It gives you many shortcuts and clears your concepts really well. Make a short notebook with maths formulas and revise continuously. 3. Reasoning Section: Sorry to say this, but no books in the market are sufficient for this section. The type of questions are continuously changing and you need to keep pace with it. One has to prepare for this section only through online resources. Free resources will not suffice for thorough practice. One has to but a good test series which captures the changing trend. I have found Oliveboards Online Practice & Preparation Platform is very useful for it. The difficulty level is one level up, but the solutions are so elaborate you get a hang of it and helps you improve. 4. General Awareness: I have always found GK capsules enough for this preparation. GK capsules for each month can be downloaded from the internet and used to prepare for this section. I hope this was helpful. All the best.
