Which courses should I look for to become a VFX artist and a film maker?

I am completing my 12th next month. I want to become a VFX artist and I also want to make my own film. I am confused between which course should I do after 12th. I am from science stream. I am also planning to study abroad after completing a course in India. Can you help?
