Which degree would be valid for PhD and other government examination such as NET etc. MS CS(Part Time) or M.tech (Part Time)?
Do MS CS (distance/part time) from SMU or BITS is equivalent to MTech(Part time) offered by some UGC universities in terms of eligibility for PHd programs and government exams like NET,UPSC,PSU\'s etc.

MS CS and MTech has equal weightage. But for PHD you need to complete your Master's through Full/Part time.
