Radiology and orthopedics are still good in terms of initial financial stability. These are still in very high demand, so very high ranks are needed in PGMEE.
Radiology has less direct patient interaction and there is less fame in general public. Even if you are a very good radiologist, you can only be famous among doctors. You should also consider this point. General medicine and general surgery are no more considered as self-sufficient and super specialisation is a must.
