The eligibility for the programme pass +2 level of Examination in any stream with an aggregate 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with English). Following are the list of some of the highly reputed Institutes offering various programs in Fashion Designing: Institute of Fashion Technology National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi Pearl Academy, New Delhi Lovely Professional University, Punjab Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune However, I know of one university that offers programmes in this field and the programmes are recognised in the industry. I would recommend Lovely Professional University for the same. The university has state of the art fashion labs and even conducts fashion shows. LPU offers courses in design in graphics, fashion, multimedia, furniture, interior, film and TV production, etc. The university holds workshops in collaboration with the industry. Design is such a good stream where one can have a great career until he have a great interest in the field. Cause next couple of years will be so easy if you are interested in and you have a passion to make design a career. When I was at LPU in Diploma I got one friend their we become bestie in a few hours later on he feel difficulties in diplomaCSE (IT) coding. He is interested in multimedia and Animation or Journalism and Film Production. After this we were friends usually I do visit occasionally. But now in design, we have Interior and Furniture, Fashion, Product and industrial, Multimedia and Animation and Journalism and film production. I have discussed earlier too. Doing this degree from an University which is affiliated with government Bodies will be good otherwise go for these institutions. NID National Institute of Desing Industrial design center, IIT- Bombay National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai Indian Institute of Art and design, Delhi. If not getting admission to these institutions then you can go for LPU cause they great Infrastructure and for these activities. And it is and UGC-approved university. And in the Indian Science Congress, I have seen the artwork of the student and faculty of Design. Trust me it was amazing. Apart from that, they organize plenty of events where individuals can show their talent. Placement opportunities are also providing to the students.
