    Most of the students are pursuing CS from prestigious institutes for good learning, package, and overall development. However, you can go with mechanical engineering if you are very passionate about core discipline, and like the work of machineries.

    There's no such thing as "better" for describing a branch, because every branch has its importance. It is just the matter of your interest based on which you feel a branch is better. I would suggest you to analyse what suits you better and in which of those courses you will perform good. Consider your skills, choose the course for which you've relevant skills. If you are good at coding or if you would like to build your career towards IT field you may take Computer Science, otherwise it'll be of no use if you just take it so that you can get a job early or you can earn more.     The students need to make the right decision regarding computer engineering vs mechanical engineering as both these fields have several differences in them. For those who want to have an established career quicker than any other field, choosing the field of computer Science will be optimal.
