    Every branch has a high salary but petroleum engineering has very high salary package.

    Hello Namitha,
    Presently in India, the engineering branch that can get you the highest salary package is without doubt information technology or computer Science engineering. In the recently concluded phase1 of the placement season at one of the IIT, the topmost bracket that a student of this branch got was of 1.5 crores. Even otherwise students of this branch get better packages than others. It is for this reason that one needs to have a very good percentile to get admission in this branch. Best wishes to you.
