Yes, you can get any branch in Vellore but your category may be upgraded to 3, so the fee would be different. You can also get admission in category 2.

You can get admission in any branch in Chennai campus but not in Vellore. You might not get into CSE, ECE, IT and mechanical in Vellore else it depends upon the number of students attending the counselling. You may choose from other branches or else VIT, Chennai is an option for you where you would

The percentage of your tuition fee refunded depends entirely on when you submit the withdrawal request.  The final dates or full and partial tuition fee refund are inclined to the official commencement of the classes, which usually starts in July.

Advance fee in VIT is partial amount that must be paid after seat allotment to book allocated seat. It can vary for different categories. Once candidate makes payment, he/she is not allowed to attend further rounds of counselling.
