There is scope for every branch, its you who has to SEE and decide his/her ambition. And this depends on your own introspection. Ask these questions to yourself and answer honestly. You will get your answer automatically: What am I passionate about? What do I like to do? What subjects do I enjoy most at school? Which subjects am I good at? Are they also the subjects I enjoy? What are my marks in these subjects? If my marks are low can I improve them? Can I SEE myself studying further? What careers support my subject choice? You will get different opinion on this and I have viewpoint of CSE as better due to its good market value with lot of scopes. I would suggest one good college for pursuing your engineering in your preferred stream I.e. UEM Kolkata. Dear Gautam, There is scope in almost every field. Nowadays CSE is in demand and if you have an interest in machines then you can opt for mechanical engineering and if you have an interest in electronics then you can opt for EE or EC. Best of luck. My cousin did B.Tech in EE as per his interest at LPU and now working in an Electrical company. In my opinion, The way technology is growing and impacting our life CSE has a lot of scope and is a better option. I will suggest to take CSE if you want immediate and good paid jobs in IT. Every organisation or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come. In CSE field nowadays the field expanded so much that you have many options to choose your career in the CSE itself. Some of the famous fields in the CSE branch is Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, Android Development, Automation, Data Science and much more you can say. There are many good private universities like Geeta University, SRM, VIT offering the course and have world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty.
