CSE is good. If you have interest in CSE, then it is the best option for you because there are infinite opportunities if you have the right skills but if you don't have interest in CSE, then go for civil or mechanical both are almost the same.

It totally depends on you that which branch you like and how you take it. In terms of placements, it is a bit easy to get a placement in IT branches as compared to the core branches. All the above-mentioned branches are interesting and challenging. In government. Jobs Civil has got ample opportunities and CSE is quite easy and most of the times you will get campus placements if you are in a good reputed institute.

Civil, CSE and mechanical are good at their respective places. It is you who has to introspect yourself in which field you want to make career and if we compare them then I would suggest you to go with CSE rather than mechanical or civil because with every business and organisation going digital, IT sector today is a booming field as compared to other sectors and there is a huge demand of computer science engineers and programmers.
