Which engineering branch has a better scope?

I want to get a good job with high salary package. I have a keen interest in computer applications.

    I really don't know what I would like more and this is my first semester in college so I need two more years to learn about either of these fields, however, I am taking a basic electric circuit's course for electronics engineering right now.
    Most of is confusing, I mean I get like a lot of stuff from that class, but than during that labs I really do not know what to do. I know how to draw a simple schematic, but not some intense one. I really didn't care much for mechanical engineer until like two days ago, because the thought of robotics, mechanics and stuff like that intrigued me.
