Which engineering branch has better career prospects among mechanical engineering and civil engineering?

Both are evergreen core branches of engineering if you wish to do engineering from one of the these two mentioned. I suggest you to go for mechanical engineering as this branch's market never goes down as everyone one company have machine and so caring of these parts mechanical engineering are useful.
