Which engineering branch has better scope among IT and EXTC?

I have interest in both computers and electronic appliances.

    Don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want to do after studying B.Tech. You may take the following considerations. If you like a computer, want to build crazy applications or something related to software go with Computer Science and Engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering or electrical engineering. After studying electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only a few get a chance in electronics companies.     Hello Ankit, choose electronics and telecommunication if you have interest in both electronics and IT because telecommunication also deals with IT. Moreover, in IT you will only study basic electronics. Figure out which one is more interesting for you. All the best.
