Though these days its Mechanical and Civil that is more in demand but don't go by this. You choose a branch that you are interested in. In case you are somebody who is interested in sitting with in AC office then you should go for CSE, ECE, IT, etc but if you can work in the field then MEch.and Civil are the best options.
We have many reputed universities like Chitkara, Lovely, Singhania etc that are offering a wide range of branches to choose from for engineering according to ones interest. The list not only includes traditional branches but also many upcoming new branches that offer a wide avenue of career opprtunities to the candidates.
