Which engineering branch have better job prospects: CSE or Software?

CSE includes study on computer hardware whereas software gives more importance to coding and developing. My experience shows that the latter have better job prospects.

Totally agree with Mr.Rao.
Don't hesitate between CSE & IT. Both come up with equal weightage when talking in terms of job opportunities.

Joshi sir don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors
