Which engineering branch is better among automobile and mechanical?

Both are equally challenging and have bright future prospects. If you like cars , their designing ,their parts and everything about cars and other automobiles only then you should go for the course. Mechanical relates to all kinds of machines from simple clocks to complex machines. Your future prospects lies in your interests and strengths. So if you have it in you for cars and bikes you can go for automobiles. Mechanical Engineering though, will give you idea of the machines and working , it doesn't involve much of designing.
