Every branch has its own merits and demerits. However, I can list out the advantages and disadvantages in EEE which you can use to decide your future goals.
Firstly, EEE has a higher number of seats in the PSU as compared to ECE.

Both the branches have equal opportunities to get a good job and the rest depends on how you study your engineering and enhance your skill so that those can be used in your work area. Remember to get into a good college.

ECE has an edge over EEE as you will get the knowledge of electronics as well as communications. Both these fields are changing in a rapid way. ECE is mainly based on physics (electronics and magnetics) and mathematical applications including some software concepts too.
While EEE is also almost the same but with less mathematical application and includes some hardware concepts.

EEE is like a mother branch and ECE is sort of derived from it. Both have a number of similar subjects. Their dissimilarity lies in that ECE has major focus on semiconductor, transistor, op-amp, microprocessor etc.
