It is difficult to say about a particular branch as each and every branch has a great future scope and demand as every branch has its own importance and applications in our daily routine. So, you not get biased to any branch. You only have to understand your interest and passion that in which field you can become successful with the help of your hard work. Answering a question like this is quite difficult, as no branch is better than the other rather it depends on you. If you are fond of studying dynamics, engines, cars and all, mechanical is better but if you like buildings, infrastructure, and massive bridges, then civil will be best. It definitely depends largely on market demands as there are equal scope for both the branches. But, if you talk of government sectors civil engineers are more in demand so here, civil is better.
