Paras2, don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. Mechanical in JSS is good and the lab are also good . Faculty is decent here most of the faculty pursuing Ph.D and some M.Tech . Campus placement are not that good for mechanical here .Most of the mechies go for GATE exam and other government sector jobs. Crowd here is good in terms of academic comp
