Which engineering branch is better among Mechanical or Automobile Engineering?

Automobile engineering is a sub-branch of mechanical engineering. It specializes in only one field. Also job opportunities are decreasing in automobile field. Mechanical engineering has more scope as it is a vast field. But it depends on your interest. If you are interested in automobile engineering

I would prefer going for mechanical as it would have more job opportunities but automobile would be in a certain field but if you are only going in mech due to automobile studies then go for specific . but personally i would prefer mech if you do not have any specific interest
