Electronics and communication engineering is one of the most popular engineering branches out there. Among the Indian engineering aspirants, this particular discipline has been a popular choice for quite some time. With the evolution of the computer age, electronics and communication has transformed into a field that is inevitable, required by almost all the industries. Electronics is now part of our everyday life, from the mobile phones to televisions, computers and even the high-end advanced satellites that are.

If you want to get admission in some college then I suggest you to go with electronics as it's scope in the future and present is very high. -
Computer engineering. It contains hardware and software both. Just check that the branch is computer engineering and not computer science technology.

Between electronics and IT, it will always be IT. IT will always pay higher than electronics and electronics is quite niche branch nowadays with a very limited scope.
