Which engineering branch is better: mining or electrical?

    There is no comparison among branches in engineering. Electrical has job opportunities in government sector and you can find jobs in private sectors in private owned power plants to self-sustain their industries.
    Mining on the other hand is much controlled by government, and hence better government job opportunities than any other branches. Both are good streams to pursue. As a trend, students prefer electrical over mining.
