Which engineering branch is good to opt for government jobs?

    Number of government Engineering jobs are limited and reducing. As per current tends maximum requirements of engineers (in order of precedence) are in electronics, mechanical, electrical, civil and computer science respectively. Computer science engineering graduates requirements is more in PSU and government organisations not with central and state governments.

    Computer science, telecommunications and mechanical engineering are best known streams gaining demand in markets due to Initiative like Digital India and Make in India.
