    All the branches are equal. In the interview, the engineering graduate is preferred irrespective of department, but CSE is the most preferred engineering field with great scope and placement opportunities.

    Hello Vaibhav,
    The choice of the engineering branch depends on your interest.
    Below mentioned are the reasons:
    1. Market conditions vary every 6 months to 1 year. Engineering is a 4 year course. There is a high chance that the field which looks the most promising at the time of taking admission might not be good when you complete engineering.
    2. Engineering mostly involves practical skills rather than theoretical knowledge. If you choose a stream based on market trends, chances are that you might not be able to understand the subject properly. This may result in lesser grades and impact on practical skills.

    if you consider the present situations of placement, jobs, and salary, you will find that Computer Science and IT dominates, then comes electronics and communications.However, you should choose your interest.
