All branches of Engineering are good for career. Job prospectus in different branches varies based on multiple parameters such as Economical growth, Geopolitical situation, changes in technology, availability of stream manpower etc. Currently Computer Science graduates is in demand. But it can not be predicated that in next 4 years there will be no variation in demand of CSE graduates. Therefore, it is suggested that you do engineering in a branch in which you have interest to excel.

    Hello Tanmay,
The choice of the engineering branch depends on your interest.
    Below mentioned are the reasons:
    1. Market conditions vary every 6 months to 1 year. Engineering is a 4 year course. There is a high chance that the field which looks the most promising at the time of taking admission might not be good when you complete engineering.
    2. Engineering mostly involves practical skills rather than theoretical knowledge. If you choose a stream based on market trends, chances are that you might not be able to understand the subject properly. This may result in lesser grades and impact on practical skills.
    I hope it helps.
