Which engineering branch should I opt?

Priscilla, You have a good score in board exams and your cut off is also good. These days, automation takes place in a huge manner and so all it firms are cutting jobs in a huge manner. So it is better to have studied a good course so that we should not be affected in the future. After your four years of graduation, the situation of jobs will go even worse. The machines have started to replace humans. So, it is better to study mechatronics or computer science engineering. Mechatronics includes mechanical, electronics and a little of computer science. The scope of mechatronics is not known in today's time. But later that will be the best course as you need to know all about machines. In case of computer science engineering, it is better as all jobs require the field of computers. So, you can study that too. But for all engineering courses the college plays a major role. Even if you take a course like chemical, civil, etc. in a good college you will be getting fair jobs with good salary. But studying the courses like ece will eventually lead you to it firma if you don't study them in a good college as you will not get core jobs.
