Which engineering college give the best placements for B.Tech in mechanical engineering?

Hi, Apart from the IITs which maintain to provide a standard placement to their students, these few colleges are doing well for placement for mechanical engineering students: NIT Karnataka is doing well with placing mechanical engineers securing an average package of 8.3 lakhs and highest going to 35 lakhs. BITs Pilani - They have set up an industrial linkage where students can get in touch with companies for holding seminars, pre-placement talks and workshops. BITS have a strong placement record with 100% placement assistance for students. Top companies include Bosch, FIAT, Flipkart, Facebook, Ernst & Young, Bank of American, and Amazon. VIT- With a good performance and decent co / extra-curricular activities you can end up in good automobile companies such as Ford, Maruti, Hyundai, Fiat, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Escorts, etc. and some other core companies such as Vedanta, Waroc, Wbtech, L&T and applied materials. PEC - Students are required to spend a semester working and has about 6 months of experience even before graduation. Past companies include Hatch, HP, India Bulls, Infosys, SAP Lab, Bank of American, IBM and more. The colleges under COMEDK such as RVCE, BMS and MSRIT. These are few good colleges in Bangalore have pretty good placements and the selection of branch is very important in these too. Some others would be: DTU, Delhi NSIT, Delhi NIT, Warangal NIT, Tiruchirapalli MNNIT, Allahabad Jadhavpur University

Talking about the placements of B.Tech in ME, being an alumnus of LPU I would be sharing a few about the placements of this programme at LPU. LPU has the largest placement network. In most of the disciplines, LPU has recorded 100 percent placement. The highest salary package offered to mechanical branch students is 31 LPA, while the average salary is 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bosch, ONGC, Ashok Leyland, Hitachi, etc.

Campus Placements for the session 2020-21 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. I am saying this because my brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. University organized International Go kart Championship which is a student initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. School of Mechanical Engineering is among the best engineering colleges in Punjab. I had some friends in Mechanical dept. And they had great things to say about the mechanical engineering department. LPU is the largest university in India and it has many highlights. Apart from very good rankings by NIRF, LPU has almost all the major accreditation like UGC, ICAR, BCI, AIU, NCTE and many more. In terms of international tie-ups, the university stands apart from other universities in the countries. With the constant zeal to improve and provide endless opportunities to the students, the following tie-ups are a few feathers in the cap: International Association Of Universities (IAU), France Association Of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), UK The Institute Of International Education (IIE), New York Accreditation Council For Business Schools And Programs (ACBSP), USA The mechanical dept. Has more than 40 labs for experimentation works. Many brands like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. Have been visiting LPU for recruiting mechanical engineers.
