Which engineering college in north or south India should I choose to pursue B.Tech in aerospace engineering?

Can I know about the colleges except IITs?

    In North, there are colleges like: IIT Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur, etc.

    Hey.
    I am a student at UPES and thus will take the liberty to give my opinion on this University only.
    It is not an IIT.
    What does that mean? YOU might be passionate about Aerospace, because hey, its Aerospace ya, how can you not love that branch?!
    Well, no.
    90% of your classmates took it because of pure chance - Aerospace was available, and so they took it.
    So four years down the line, you shouldn't let that kind of an atmosphere get under your nerves.
    Its a private college.
    Meaning? They will not discourage you if you want to get into extensive research, but hey, there's no money in their account for Space Tech.!
