Of course you can join engineering If you have passed PUC with good marks because PUC is considered as an intermediate course (10+2). So, you are eligible for the different level of engineering entrance examination e. g JEE Main and Advance, state-level entrance examinations WBJEE JCECE COMEDK etc.

The best colleges for data Science in India are IIT Madras, GITAM University, Sathyabama Institute of Technology & Science, etc. Offer admission into Data Science or Analytics courses solely based on the scores of JEE or GATE scores. So for these college crack JEE.
