There is reservation of seats in IITs, only for backward sections of the society. No information regarding seats reserved for freedom fighter grandson's. Currently, the reservation of 15%, 7.5% and 27% seats is provided for candidates hailing from SC, ST and OBC communities. You can contact IIT offi
