Which engineering discipline is best followed in BITS- Pilani?

BITS ranks 5th best engineering college all over India including IITs. The best branch is computer science with the recruiters like Google and Microsoft. The average package is around 18 lacs for CS. All the best.

Hi Ajeya, BITS Pilani is one of the premier engineering institute of India having great infrastructure, pedagogy and ambience. It's difficult to comment about any specific engineering discipline as the best because there may be different factors of analysis. If you are asking from a placement perspective, certainly Computer Science Engineering would be the best, but apart from that each discipline is at par with the other in terms of pedagogy, labs and exposure. One unique feature of BITS-Pilani is the academic flexibility that it offers, under which if you opt for mechanical engineering and you have got an interest in coding, then you can take electives on that domain too. BITS-Pilani is one of the best colleges in India so if you can score good marks in BITSAT then only you will get admission BITS campuses and all the branches of BITS are good so think about your interest i.e. in which field you want to go in future and when you decide on the branch, prepare accordingly and try to score 30 marks more than the previous year's cut-off.
