Which engineering field have better scope among civil, electrical, mechanical and chemical?

Don't go for the scope. Opt for the field in which you have a keen interest or the field which excites you. Still, if I have to answer, it would chemical, civil, mechanical, and electrical (high to low demand).

More than scope, availability matters and for that, I will suggest you to prefer civil or electrical as only these streams have availability in private or government sectors and you can have your own business too if you are willing.

Mechanical engineering is an evergreen core branch of engineering. As all industries require mechanical engineers, it has remained one of the best career option for last 50 years without any cyclic variations. Among your choices, mechanical engineering has maximum scope.

Chemical engineering has good scope as Indian chemical and petroleum industry is very big and can absorb new graduates easily. Most of the jobs are in mid and large companies.

Each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are few difference like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.

Scope could mean the opportunities for employment or the extent of knowledge in the discipline. There are more jobs for civil engineers. The most well rounded and expansive field is mechanical engineering. You will learn much of the basics of the other two fields, and about robotics and aeronautical
