In civil engineering you will learn how to build bridges, sky scrapers etc. Detailed knowledge about the building structure.Civil is hard if you are not good in making charts.

CS as we all know is all about computer science and its working. Difficult part of it are coding and it's languages.
Mechanical is about machinery. Like every kind of machinery from robots to the working of brakes in trains. And difficult part is physics.

Mechanical engineering is a secure branch as we already have MAKE IN INDIA going on.
Civil engineering is second best as SMART CITIES DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS will produce more jobs.
But when comes to COMPUTER , I don't see much progress unless until you got selected in a reputed enterprise.

it completely depends on your interest area to be honest, however from a placement perspective, there are more readily available jobs in Computer Science and IT compared to core mechanical or civil engineering. Also, simply based on the nature of the streams, Civil and Mechanical would need more manual labour and practical learning, while CSE would need you to work/code working comfortably in front of a laptop/desktop.

Mechanical and civil are the core branches. If you want to study in these two branches, you can a get job in IT sector but if you are pursuing computer engineering you just have only computer based job as it's tough for getting admission in mechanical and civil as compared to computer branch. Rest depends on your interest.
