According to me, electronics and communication engineering is the best branch because in this branch you can go for IT companies as well as government jobs, IES exam, etc. If you are an ECE student, you have a broad field of opportunity more than CSE or any other branch.

Mechanical is also one of an evergreen field. Currently, the market in electronics, IT and robotics is booming. Yes, you can consider Mechanical too. Mechanical is more inclined towards physics and maths. Sectors requiring mechanical graduates are automobiles, power, real estate.
