Which engineering job should I prefer, government or private? I am working as a circuit designer in a private firm (ECE engineer).

I am confused as everyone is pursuing to prepare for government job and quit private job.

In order to have brighter and better career based on meritocracy, you are advised to stick to the private sector. Also, where are government jobs in circuit design except in R&D centers and PSUs? Anyways, now government jobs are also not very lucrative with withdrawal of life time pension and other
