    I would suggest you for computer Science engineering a widely demanded degree for job prospects. So, choose college wisely to get good education as well as placements.     I think chemical engineering has not got that much of opportunities for time being in India. If you want to do Chemical engineering, you should only prefer taking admissions in IITs or NITs. Otherwise not. Civil and mechanical are good as they both are core and have many opportunities in government sector. If you want campus placements easily with fewer efforts, go with CSE.

    I personally believe that every branch has a scope if you have a strong orientation and you don't leave any stone unturned learn it. To start with Civil engineering is the professional practice of designing and developing infrastructure projects. This can be on a huge scale, such as the development of nationwide transport systems or water supply networks, or on a smaller scale, such as the development of single roads or buildings whereas Computer engineering concerns the design and prototyping of computing hardware and software.
