Which engineering stream is good for a girl?

Being a girl and mechanical engineer, I would like to establish this here that any engineering branch- computer or mechanical, is good for a girl. It is a myth that it is difficult for girls to pursue mechanical or automotive or any such engineering! If you have interest in this field, dont hold back for anything! There are plenty of design and R&D jobs, so you dont necessarily have to work on a shop floor of manufacturing unit. The people suggesting Computer Science and the like probably dont know that girls can do anything and everything they want. -

8 years agothere is no discrimination gender in engineering branch however computer science, information technology,chemical engineering,petro chemical engineering, bsc biotechnology, genetics engineering,electronic and communication engineering etc are suitable for girls -
Computer Science or Information Technology is best for girls.

1.Computer Science and IT
2. Electronics and Communication Engineering
3. Biotech or Bioengineering
4. Electrical Engineering
5. Chemical Engineering
