To get admission into NIIT University, Candidates need to appear and have a valid score in JEE Main, BITSAT, SAT, NEET or any other state engineering entrance exam. Candidates who do not have a valid score in any of the entrance exam mentioned above, need to appear for NAUT (NIIT University Aptitude Test).

In case a student decides not to appear for any Engineering entrance examination, they have to undertake NUAT. This test is mandatory for every candidate who has not appeared in JEE-Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ NEET/ any state Engineering entrance examination. The better of the two scores (second being NUAT) will be considered. NIIT University is now accepting the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores.

Wards of Armed Forces Personnel and OBC/SC/ST category students get a fee waiver of INR 15,000.
