    PJTSAU considers national or state-level entrance exams for admission. The university accepts TG EAPCET or ICAR CUET for admission to BSc and BTech programmes. For MTech, MBA and MSc courses, selection is based on ICAR AIEEA PG scores of the candidates.

Candidates willing to take admission to the courses offered at PJTSAU must meet the eligibility and selection criteria for admission to their desired programme. Depending on CUET 2025, where Agriculture is the solo domain subject, admission to PJTSAU (Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University) for undergraduate courses in B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture is possible if the eligibility stipulations are met.
