The CCH, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India directed all the states authorities to take the admission in BHMS, BAMS and BUMS courses through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The entrance exams conducted by private associations may be stopped from 2016 session onward. The admission in 2016 should be from the common entrance test conducted by University or State Government only. From 2017 onward there is only one exam all over India for BHMS admissions.
