Admission to the B.Tech programme at Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is based on REAP scores. However, preference is given to JEE Mains candidates.

Admissions are based on the following criteria:

REAP scores
JEE Mains rank
PCM percentage in 12th Std
Minimum 45% aggregate for general category and 40% aggregate for SC/ST/Others
Completion of 12th in PCM/ PCMB

Candidates must register for REAP 2023. The minimum eligibility for BTech admission through REAP 2023 is:

Class 12 marks

The entrance exam required for B.Tech at Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main). JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam for admission to engineering colleges in India.

RTU also accepts the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) score for admission to B.Tech programs. REAP is a state-level entrance exam for admission to engineering colleges in Rajasthan.

However, JEE Main is the preferred entrance exam for admission to RTU. Students who appear for both the JEE Main exam and the REAP exam will be considered for admission based on the better score.
