<p data-sourcepos="1:1-1:146">The entrance exam required for B.Tech at Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is the <strong>Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main)</strong>. JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam for admission to engineering colleges in India.</p><p data-sourcepos="3:1-3:81">RTU also accepts the <strong>Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP)</strong> score for admission to B.Tech programs. REAP is a state-level entrance exam for admission to engineering colleges in Rajasthan.</p><p data-sourcepos="5:1-5:34">However, JEE Main is the preferred entrance exam for admission to RTU. Students who appear for both the JEE Main exam and the REAP exam will be considered for admission based on the better score.</p><p data-sourcepos="7:1-7:299">To be eligible for admission to B.Tech at RTU through JEE Main, students must have passed the 12th class examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
