Oriental University admits students to its MBA programme based on the scores of CAT and MAT. Hence, Oriental University MBA aspirants must apply and appear for one of the accepted entrance exam. Only a candidate with a valid CAT/MAT score is eligible to appear for various counselling rounds and seat allotment process. Candidates must separately register on the official website of the university for the counselling. Before registering, they must ensure that they meet the preset eligibility criteria for MBA admission.

Candidates willing to take admission at Oriental University MBA have to appear for either CAT or MAT examination.
The minimum eligibility criteria to appear in CAT exam is that the candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% aggregate for SC, ST, and PWD/DA category) from a recognised university to appear in CAT and the minimum age for appearing in CAT is 20 years.
