SLIET conducts it own ALL India SLIET entrance exam for B.E. lateral entry, M.Sc., M.Tech, and Ph.D. The admission fee varies for boys and girls in the general category, while it differs for SC/ST candidates. For B.E. program, it also accepts JEE scores, for M.Sc., a valid JAM score is required, and for M.Tech, a valid GATE score is necessary.
