BIIB Pune accepts national or state-level Management entrance exams to shortlist candidates for MBA admission. The institute accepts CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT or MAH CET scores. Aspirants who have not appeared for any of the accepted entrance exams or not scored well, can appear for Sri Balaji Entrance and Screening Test (SBEST). Apart from entrance exam, BIIB also evaluates performance in group discussion and personal interview round for final selection.

The eligibility criteria for MBA admission at BIIB, Sri Balaji University, require candidates to be graduates from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the reserved category). Additionally, students currently in the final year of their graduation and confident of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks may also apply for the MBA courses. The admission committee may give more weightage to higher marks in graduation.
