Institute of Law, Nirma University accepts the scores of CLAT, the entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of NLUs. CLAT is a national level entrance exam for law courses. The test consists of objective type questions and carries a maximum of 200 marks. Aspirants must visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs to apply for the exam. They must separately register on the official ILNU website to be considered for the BA LLB (Hons) selection process.

The Institute of Law, Nirma University commonly accepts CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) scores for admission to its B.A. LL.B. program. Additionally, the university may consider LSAT (Law School Admission Test) scores as an alternative entrance exam for admission. Candidates can apply with either CLAT or LSAT scores for consideration in the admission process to the B.A. LL.B. programme at Nirma University's Institute of Law.
